As a woman in technology and design, this project was significant to me as I have always been interested in promoting technology where I can. This gave me the drive to create something that would catch the eyes of others. I spent a month creating mock-ups and collaborating with my design team to create a structure that worked for the user experience. In addition, I added some new UX  and UI principles such as animation, copy and image consistency, CTA buttons, landing pages and dynamic content. During my process, I would often test my designs on different platforms such as mobiles and tablets to ensure that the user had access to the same content. This website proved to increase traffic and view time among users and become the main staple of reference for different digital media designs regarding the conference, including email blasts, banners and social media posts.
